Smoke Alarm Compliance System
As part of the Smoke Detector legislation;
Smoke Detectors must be maintained and serviced before the start of each new tenancy or lease
renewal.
The legislation commenced on the 1st July 2007

· Supply batteries as
required
· Test to manufactures specifications
to see if the unit is operating correctly
· Cleaning the
unit
· Recording position, Manufacturer
date and/or Expiry date
· A detailed written inspection / test
report will be provided with the invoice

“BONUS” Safety switch test - recorded time should be less than
300ms

Each test will be valid until you have a new tenancy or lease
renewal.
